Abdullah Alguaiee’s love for horses started when he was young. From being a trainer to becoming the first entrepreneur to bring equestrian brands to the Saudi audience, he is passionate in everything he does for Le Monde Du Cheval. As a trainee under the British Horse Society, he realized the need for sporting equipment in the equestrian industry back home. At a small café in Paris, Monde Du Cheval was born.

Abdullah grew up around horses, and has seen first-hand the impact that horses can have on individuals and on the society at large.

“Horse riding is...a partnership that teaches you a number of essential skills that govern your entire life, including confidence, self-belief and the ability to be quiet without the need to assert yourself by shouting. When you teach a boy to ride, you’re teaching him how to be a man.”

However, the journey has not been an easy one. Due to a lack of awareness in the equestrian industry, Abdullah had to create the very market he was catering to. It took years before he has successfully brought equestrian brands into the everyday consciousness of horse owners and riders.

“I don’t come from a wealthy family and I’ve had to work hard to achieve what I have, in life and business… the equestrian industry is my passion and this is a labour of love,” says Abdullah.
